Here is some insider information about how amazon score your account
I had access to a amazon customer support agent's panel so I can provide you an in depth description of how it works on amazon (both amazon.com and for all the others)
Your amazon account has a "score" that determine how much you will be able to refund
For example if you have a score of 500 you won't be able to refund anything that cost more then 500$
To calculate your score you need to do this calculation: 3.3 x number of days since your account has been created + 1 point for every $ spent on the account ( also -2 point for every $ refunded, even if with legit refunds ) +200 points if you are subscribed to amazon prime and +50 points if you only used the account on a phone (note, using it on a emulator like bluestacks will grant those 50 points) + 150 points if you use your amazon account mainly on an amazon device (for example firestick)
For example if you created your account 4 months ago, have prime and bought a 300$ item: 3.3 x 120 + 300 + 200 = 896 - that means that you will be able to refund up to 896$ on that account
By that I mean you can easily refund $800-900 on your account using simple methods, but of course it depends on many other factors. Just wanted to show you some of the information I have about one of the many ways Amazon score your account as trustworthy or no.
